Hi, I just had some bloodwork done and it came in with a sed rate of 54 and RF factorFactor ix complex of 8.5. Does this mean I could have arthritis. I do also think I have a torn rotatorRotator cuff repair Rotator cuff tendinitis cuff that but has not be confirmed. Could this cause the sed rate to be high? Also with having a RF factorFactor ix complex of 8.5 mean I have a positive RF factorFactor ix complex or does it have to be over 14 to be considered positive. Thank you
Your RF factorFactor ix complex is considered within normalNormal saline flush range as long as it is under 10 so that is a good sign. Your sed rate is definitely elevated but lots of things can influence that. What symptoms do you have besides the rotator cuff?
My hands are sore all the time and after sitting for any length of time im stiff and takes me a minute to get going. The front of my legs and my hands go to sleep. Im unable to sleep most of the time. My lower back hurts all the time. I was told I had DDD in my back. Could my arm and lower back be the cause of a high sed rate of 54. Thank you for your help.
I can relate to a lot of what you wrote. I am sorry to have the company :)
I am not a doctor but I do think it is possible your other problems are contributing to your elevated sed rate. Is it pain that keeps you from sleeping? Have you seen a neuro about your hands and legs going to sleep?
