Redness

My joints in my hands turn very red and they are painful  but reecntly the bottom of my hands have turned red and they get white blotchy spots not raised but very blotchy, can anyone explain. Also it is my left hands that has really started to get swollen  which is strange as it is my right hands that had 3 broken fingers and already has arthritic joints why would my left hand be doing this now, it hurts when I am washing dishes or tryin to open something.

Might be time to get your left hand checked out.  Are you taking anything for the pain?  As for the blotchy appearance, I get that too when my hands hurt.
