Hello.  Autoimmune diseases do seem to run in families.  I have AS and RA, have a cousin with RA and had an aunt with Lupus.  Reiter's can occur because of exposure to other forms of bacteria and is in the same family as AS, both are spondylotharopies.  How long have you had Reiters?

i was told at the same time of the AS.  the dr never mentioned Clymidia . i feel better at this time only due to divorcing my husband of 20 years. he was the type that wanted to be sicker than me. but he was very bad to me during my 1st Brain Tumor surgery. 12 months after leaving him and the 1st tumer, 12mo later i had another Brain Tumor surgery. i am still happer than i have been in 20 yr and the other pains (AS - RS- Fibrom.) don't matter or hurt as much. funny huh.
thanks for responding.

I am glad you are feeling better.  Sometimes the relationships we are in turn out to be unhealthy too and that can compound our problems when we get dx with a painful condition.
You indicated that you are still in pain.  Have any of the treatments you have received at least reduced your pain?  What are you taking to treat the conditions and manage the pain?
