Sharp pain in ribs!

Hi everyone! I'm new here and would love some help! This morning I woke up with a sharp pain behind the left side I my ribs, It got worst when I breathe. I can't lay or turn to the left with a horrible pain!  If I just lay on my back the pain kinda stops until I move. Any idea what this could be? If it helps I'm 17, Female and recently had a ibs flare up.

Hi Evbree.
Welcome to the forum.

It's fine that you posted here.
The pain  location indicates that your your ribs or your pleura (a membrane
structure in that area covering the rib cage, thorax, lungs, chest) have some type of inflammation.
Look into pleurisy and  pleural effusion.
If pain persists or if it worsens , you should see a doctor.
gtg! Please post again!
Take care.
