Shoulder, upper arm, shoulder blade pain

I developed a sore shoulder about 8 weeks ago. I have limited movement and a burning, numb feeling in my upper arm and shoulder blade. My GP diagnosed tendinitis and put me on a course of anti-inflammatries for a week. This did not work. I went back and he gave me a kortisone injection in my shoulder. This did not work either so I went back 6 days later for another injection (kortisone in my shoulder). This relieved the pain a little bit for a few days. I went back after 2 weeks and had x-rays and a sonar done. THis was inconclusive. I was referred to a orthopedic surgeon and he diagnosed inflamed rotarcuff muscles. He gave me another kortisone injection but it did not make my shoulder any better. I'm desperate to get this sorted out as I'm not sleeping properly, I'm waking up at night from the pain in my shoulder. Please if there's anyone out there that can solve this riddle I would appreciate it.

hello there, i know 2 people who have had what you are experiencing, and it turned out to be simply because they were using their laptop for too long everyday in awkward positions resulting in a kind of repetitive strain/ frozen shoulder type thing- basically, when they switched to sitting in correct posture with their computer on a desk at the right height and their shoulders not henched upwards, and each lumbar of their spine supported by a good chair, the problems went away. i apologise if i am wrong, or if this is something you have already explored, but I saw you're post as unanswered and this is 1 idea for you :)
