Significantly above normal bone density test results

Has anyone in this forum had above normal bone density test results for their age group?  If so, what were you told?
I just had my first test and the hip and spine were "significantly" above normal for my age group.  I was 3.3 and 3.2 in those 2 areas...neck was about 2.2.  I am not quite 50.  I have been looking on the internet for information about that.  I am currently experiencing pain in my hip and back....feet.  I am over-weight at this time and was in a car accident a year ago when someone tried to beat me out by turning left in front of me while I was traveling at 40 plus miles a hr.  I swerved to try avoid them (I had a green light) and "bam".  No broken bones (maybe due to the denser bones?) however, I developed a blood clot in the back of my left knee and was on warfarin for nearly 8 mo. (went off March 28, 2008).
Meanwhile, my knees which took an impact (especially the right one) continues to hurt and until recently I couldn't be on my knees (used to be on my knees all the time working on the computers, etc.).  I am a CNA, so I am on my feet and in continual pain by day's end.
I am taking a number of supplements at this time in the hopes of helping myself.  My doctor doesn't believe in Chiropractor's so she won't give me a referral.  I take a couple of tylenol (500 mg. each) before going to work and use "China gel" on my back & legs/feet.
I am not sure what is from the accident, what is from arthritis starting and how the bone density test fits into the picture, but I am hoping to learn more to understand how to handle this.  Arthritis runs in my family and one of my older brothers who is in his mid 50's has advanced osteoarthritis already.  I used to joke about having strong bones because I had drank so much milk, but................

Thanks in advance for any comments, suggestions or insights
:-)
