Hi, My mother is 64 years of age n the disease she is suffering is still unkown by the doctor, she she getting her treatment done by an orthopedic doctor from 3-4 months , ealier she was not getting any relief but when we change the doctor  she foundd some relief. The problem was , she is having swollen ankle from past 4-5 months now n lot of pain in it.
Her ESR is quite high and so his her CRP.
She has been recommended medicines such as saaz ds, etova 400, neogadine, urgel, aramact, corcium c, absolut 3g, in a day and mext f 7.5 to be taken once in a week.
She is taking these medicines from 10 days n experienced loose motions this time.
Pls suggest what is the problem ?
We tried taking one medicine in a day to check which is causing loose motions but failed.
When we stop medicines , she cries in acute pain.
Pls advise ?

thank you Carolanivey, that does make sense.  Shalijab29, many drugs can cause this.  If you take a look under the Health Center tab you can see info on drugs http://www.medhelp.org/health_topics/list and on the health tools tab you can check for any interactions.  You should go back to the doctor to discuss her problems with the drugs and get advice.  She might want to try taking some Immodium to slow everything down.

Trudie, do you think she means loose bowel movements?
