TOO YOUNG FOR ARTHRITIS?

i have been experienceing severe back pain while i try to sleep,,,only when i sleep though!
i lay down,and my lower/mid back will get real stiff,and hurt so bad i can hardly roll from one side to the next!!!
i never realy had this before i went to a chiro for 6 months after a slight car accident.
i seen him once a week,and he adjusted my spine.
after seeing him,,,NOW MY BACK IS WORSE THEN EVER!!!
he says i have arthritis in it,and he prob. put something back into its place that was out of place so long,my body is not use to it!
im only 34 and a father of 2 and it is very hard to give piggy back rides exct because of back pain now.
what is your openions on this matter?

Unfortuantely, you are not too young for arthritis.  No one is.  There are many different forms of arthritis and it is important to find out which kind you have (if he was not more specific it could be osteoarthritis OA which is what most people think of when they say arthritis.)
I know many people swear by their chiros and that they can be very beneficial.  I think there are times when you need to combine the approaches and see a regular doctor, too.  Your situation seems like one of those to me especially since he is saying you have arthritis in your spine.  
A good place to start would be your PCP/GP.  If you have x-rays from the chiro, take those with you.  Have the doctors work as a team if possible to develop a treatment plan to get you out of pain.
Physical therapy may benefit you, too.  I know you want to get back to giving piggy back rides again as soon as possible :)
