Tingling Bilateral Joint Pain

This time I can't just take a pill and keep going. I admit it is bothering me a bit. I am a 51 year old male, 6' and about 215 lbs. Bilateral joint pain-hands, wrist, elbows, lower back, knee pain, and ankle pain, Yes I know it's bit much. Hands and feet are numb and "tingly". Slight headache, but no fever 97.6. I feel hot, but hands and feet are very cold. It's flu season but no coughing or respiratory problems. I have had these symptoms before, but not as bad. It's been colder than normal these past few days. I had blood work for RA and Lupus and X-rays done last week. X-rays negative except slight degenerative left wrist. I am still waiting on the blood work. Okay, I'll stop whining now.

Hi!
I can empathize with you. It is quite a lot to have pains in all joints. I understand you are undergoing investigations for this and while some diseases are ruled out, other possibilities exist. I am just enumerating these possibilities. You need to discuss with your doctor if other lab results are normal.
Multiple joint pain is seen in fibromyalgia, hypothyroidism, low Vitamin D levels, Low Vit B12 levels, anemia, Hashimotos thyroiditis, gout (can sometimes cause multiple joint pain), rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, SLE or lupus, electrolyte disturbance particularly those involving calcium and magnesium, parathyroid gland problems, chondrocalcinosis and chronic fatigue syndrome. Please consult your PCP for primary examination followed by proper referral. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you. The advice may not be completely correct for you as the doctor cannot examine you and does not know your complete medical history. Hence this reply to your post should only be considered as a guiding line and you must consult your doctor at the earliest for your medical problem.

Hi there!

Well, without a detailed clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Other than flu associated/ viral syndrome, possibilities that may need to be considered include joint inflammation, degeneration, injuries, neuro-muscular causes, micronutrient deficiencies, referred pain from other regions etc. Without a definite diagnosis at hand it is difficult to suggest a management plan. It is best to have this evaluated by a primary care physician initially and depending on the cause diagnosed/ suspected it can be managed accordingly or specialist care may be sought. Meanwhile you could get some rest. Warm compresses and tylenol/ OTC NSAIDS may be helpful for pain relief as well.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!

What to do when I've no ins? Went from energetic professional to bedridden misery. tests + for non-Rheumy connective tissue disease/w osteo spurs, etc. on spine, hands, knees, feet. MORE bloodwork & multi-MRI needed. Desperate to return to career I love. HOW to pay in TX?  Btw, can only swim for exercise. Was triathlete. HATE exmp for daughter.  Was too proud to take disability. Had belief wd overcome, as I ALWAYS had.  Waited until SURE I couldn't work. 8 yrs too long. HELP. Know I'm not alone in killing my family due to no ins/aid.  We make too much for county hospital. (Tarrant). Would like to know if anyone  else is quietly dying due to being caught btwn cracks of 'middle class.' Those who did not ywork 4 many yrs, as I did-those who've not paid taxes at all can have thw very scans/teu
