ULTRASOUND FOR BURSITIS?

someone posted to me that they purchased an at home ultrasound machine for their bursitis pain, I asked the poster a few questions and didn't get a reply.
has anyone else used this?
and if so was it worth the money? how well did it work and where did you buy it from?

Wish I could say.  My bursitis responds beautifully to cortisone shots so I get them as I need them.  Please let us know what you find out though because, if the price is right and it is effective, then I know of a few folks who will be interested.  You might even start a run on them :)

Years ago I went to a chiropractor who had an ultrasound machine that he used on my shoulder and neck and went for physio on same area 2 years ago and they also used the ultrasound.  I think it did help with the inflammation.
