What do I have, if anything?

What do I have, if anything?

have been diagnosed with Sjogrens. I don't think that is a correct diagnosis. I do not have dry eyes, nor dry mouth.  My Rheumatologist just said that a couple of things were a little abnormal with my blood work.  My ANA is high (positive). (The ANA test was run a couple of times.) The last time it was 1:320 with ANA pattern - Nucleolar.

In by CBC bloodwork all at a normal range except my Monos is high (10).

In my Metabolic Panel, all normal except my Glucose was low (67) my ALK PHOS was high (167) my SLT was high (137) and my AST was high (105). I did have a Liver ultrasound, and they said my liver looked fine.

My urinalysis, all normal except - occult bld - small H, Leuk esterase - trace H, Ur. wbc - 5-10 H, Ur. rbc - 5 - 10 H

In the thyroid panel there are a couple of comment - ANTI-TPO - it says Anti-TPO min detection - 10.0 IU/ML
and Throglob AB - it says Thyroglobulin Antibody in Detection - 20.o IU/ML

Any suggestions? Questions I can ask my own Dr.?

There are a few more tests that can be done to pin down the diagnosis of Sjogrens.

Antibodies to the Ro/SSA or La/SSB antigens, as well as a Schirmer test to test for tear production can be done.

The positive ANA level may indeed point to a rheumatologic disease.  If the tests for Sjogrens comes out negative, I would continue testing for other possibilities like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
