What kind of Doctor should I go to

Hi Txsilver
Hope you are having a good day.
I have a couple of questions.

Can a rheumotologist treat a muscle pull  ?

Do you know what kind of doctor I should  go to?
Do you know if a muscle pull is something that just takes time to get better?
I very mush appreciate your help

You are more than welcome. 6 years of undiagnosed symptoms and you learn a lot! I enjoy helping people understand.
Have a great evening!

Thanks for responding, Dnmh.  Sometimes it is a few days before I get back here and I love to see everyone helping each other.  Your suggestion is  is exactly what I would suggest, too.

Sorry, I'm not Txsilver but I would say your PCP should be more than capable of treating a muscle pull. Rhuems are generally for autoimmune disorders such as arthritis, lupus, scleroderma. Muscle pulls generally need time to heal. Start with ice the first day, then heat - both on and off - don't know how long on or off - rest at first then slowly move it as much as is comfortable. I just recovered from pulled muscles in my back....
