fiorecet?

my dr. thinks that fiorecet has phenobarbatal in
it.  Is this true?  I have had  migraines for many years,, even as a child.  I am now 57 and still  have them.  My Dr. wants to wean me off of them.  I am not addicted because I would need them every dayand I can go months without them.  I have tried  other meds and they do work.  What can I do to convince my Dr. that it does not have phentobarbatal?  I do have seizures and take dilantin  Thank You, Sherrymarie

Fioricet is made from a combination of butalbital (a barbiturate, 50 mg), acetaminophen (325 mg) and caffeine (40 mg).

There is no mystery about American drugs.  Finding out what is in them is easily researchable.  It has butalbital, which is a barbiturate.  When you google the drug interaction between Fioricet and Dilantin, the side effect is sleepiness.  So I would tell the doctor that I only use this the Fioricet on occasion, and I go to bed and won't drive or do other hazardous activities.
