I've also read (and my husband experienced) that aspirin can exasperate your gout symptoms.  Better to use ibuprofen (motrin).

no fatty foods is a start but try anti parasitic herbs,buy them online,they are cheap enough

It is important that you reduce your red meat and alcohol intake and watch your fats.  These can help and you may need to see your doctor.  There is a drug that helps to break up the crystals.  Good luck and hope you get relief soon.
