Hello!

Welcome to the forum!

We would advise you to go to a therapist initially and later practice that at home. The best way to limit costs is going for consultancy and then practicing it yourself.

We advise you adequate joint motion and tissues which are necessary for cartilage nutrition and health, protection of joint structures from damaging impact loads, function, and comfort in daily activities should be practiced by you.
Exercise to regain or maintain motion and flexibility by low-intensity, controlled movements till they do not cause increased pain. Muscle weakness around an osteoarthritic joint is a common finding so we advise you progressive resistive/strengthening exercises in load muscles in a graduated manner to allow for strengthening while limiting tissue injury.

Yes, the Dr has to prescribe the device and teach you how to use so you will use it in a proper way.

Take care and keep us posted for future enquiries!
