is this spondylitis..im not sure

hi i have been to the doctors today and she has diagnosed spondylitis , but i am not so sure...my symptoms are pain at the base of my skull, pain across my middle and lower back, horrible pain in my calfs and occasionally my left rib cage, it is not with me all the time i get a flare up every 8 - 10 weeks soetimes lomger although i always have a headache , when i am laid my pain is at its worst, can anyone tell me if these sound like symptoms please..

Well, without a clinical evaluation it would be difficult to determine the cause of your symptoms. Possibilities that may need to be considered include inflammations like spondylitis, postural issues, neuro-muscular causes, degeneration, micronutrient deficiencies etc. I would suggest getting this evaluated by a rheumatologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management.
