muscle aches

currently, i've been experiencing widespread muscle aches & pain. i had tests done for arthritis,  rf factor,  ana-sedimentation rate, and all were normal. i had cbc bllodwork done 2mos ago . everything is normal. i have no muscle weakness. i had cdiff, about 2 mos ago. does an negative ana & rf rule out lupus & rhuematoid arthritis, or could this be fibromyalgia?i read there is a correlation between fibro & cdiff

You have had a pretty good rheumatological workup.  Although possible, I am not aware of a correlation between C Difficle and fibromyalgia.

You can consider other disorders like polymyalgia rheumatica, thyroid disorders, nerve disorders, or other endocrine disorders (i.e. such as parathyroid disorders or Cushings syndrome).

You can consider a sedimentation rate to look for polymyalgia.  Blood tests looking for aldolase elevation can point to possible myositis as a cause.

Fibromyalgia can be diagnosed via various trigger points.  The lab tests would likely be negative in these cases.

You can discuss these options with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
