muscle enzymes

I am trying to find out what exactly are muscle enzymes and if they are low what causes this.

Muscle enzymes are proteins in tissue cells.  When you are injured or have certain conditions, these enzymes break and leak into the blood stream.  All of my research indicates diagnosis that are made on the basis of elevated enzymes.  Which enzymes are low?  Did a doctor tell you they were low?  Are they on the low side of the normal range?
