numbess in my right hand and arm

ive been having numbness in my right arm with severe pain at times it wakes me up everynight and starts when im at work.ca u try to tell me what it is

Hi. When I've had severe pain with regular numbness, it is b/c of pinching on the nerves. U don't say where your pain is coming from, or is it in the arm? My numbness & pain comes from the neck, had hern. discs, 2 surgeries on neck replacing vert. Arthritis has set in. I guess you would need to elaborate. There are 2 many possibles. It could even be stress from work. If u think thats silly, I had a horrendous job. 1 day had sev. arm pain, chest pain, could not breathe, started vomiting. BP was way up. ER thought I was having heart attack. So did I. When the dr. came in later  & told me I had a panic attack. I thought, U R talking to the wrong patient! THAT is how real it is. So don't rule out anything. If you want to research, go up to the search conditions box and put in diff. symptoms & see if u can put it together.
