numbness in left forearm and ring finger/pinky

Hi folks,
If I am sitting even slightly forward at a table for even a couple of seconds... with my elbows on (arms in 'the prayer position')..I get a bad ache between shoulder blades and my left forearm, left ring finger and 'pinky' go numb. numbness goes away when I adjust or move away.  I have narrowing of many foramina so is this just an indication of further narrowing/pinching? Appreciate any comments/help. Thanks.

Thanks tx,
think you're right....organising that as I write.  Hope your day goes well (or bearable in our cases I suppose).  Thanks and take care.

Good question!  It does sound like something is pinched.  Between the two posts it sounds like your symptoms are getting worse and it may be time to get back to the doctor so he can evaluate the new developments.  Maybe a change in meds can help get you some relief.  Let us know what you find out.
