osteo arithritis and sciatica
I have osteo arithritis, fibromyalgia, and pain from lower back and across left buttocks continuing down left leg to behind the knee. Could this be sciatica? Could the cause be osteo arithtitis or fibromyalgia or something else? Where do I go for help? I see a pain management specialist who is a rheumatory doctor and is into drug research. Should I start with him or physical therapy or a neurologist? I have had this pain for over a year but now it is constant and I can hardly walk. I use a cane when I walk but it only supports me and doesn't help the pain. It hurts when I sit and lay down also.

The pain you describe could be from your sciatica but should definitely be investigated by your doc to be certain.  I would start with the doc who takes care of your sciatica and go from there.
