severe joint pain from microplasmatic pneumonia?

I was diagnosed with Microplasmatic Pnuemonia (pneumonia) (Walking pnuemonia (pneumonia)) I have had severe joint pain to the point of being unable to walk. The doctor tested for R.A. but nothing came up. Is this a common side symptom of this disease or might I have something else

Hello.  Sorry to hear you are in pain and suffering with pnuemonia (pneumonia).  Joint and muscle pain are symptoms of pnuemonia (pneumonia) so hopefully this will not be a long lingering symptom for you.  If you get better and the pain does not go away, you should be tested for other causes.  There are over 100 types of arthritis so ruling out RA leaves many others to be checked.  Hope you are up and at 'em soon!
