tingling or radiating of left leg

I recently injured my  back at work last month. I was having upper back pain and was treated with several meds. The upper back pain has left me. After finishing the meds I started getting tingling and radiating down my left leg to my toes. The tingling has not stoped for several week now. I am not having any pain, just tingling or radiating in the left leg. My left leg went out on me for a few seconds while walking a few day ago, but I am ok now. The tingling is more prominent when walking or standing for a log period of time. I was diognosed with arthritis in the lower back several years ago but I do not have any pain. I also had lower back surgery to L4 & 5 disk in 1984. Do you think it is Arthritis related. Maybe the injury agrivated the nerve?

clare777 may be right, another disc herniation could have happened, doctors worry more about that possibility with pain that goes down the leg below the knee and when weakness causes the leg to go out

clare777 is right that an MRI helps evaluate the discs and see if they're pinching a nerve

The pain could be from both the arthritis and the injury.  Or you may have herniated another disc with your injury.  Sometimes back surgeries have to be repeated.  You should see your doctor and have an MRI of your spine to see what is going on.
