upper back pain with rheumatoid arthritis

I am improving since I have been on treatment since Sept 20 with methotrexate,prednisone, and folic acid. I still have some swelling in my ankles, but so much better. I am not taking any pain pills so that is great. My question is do any of you with RA have upper back pain between the shoulder blades ever? I will be returning to my Rheumy doc on Oct. 20 to get a return to work. Any advise as I head back to a labor intense job for 6 1/2 hours a day? Thanks this is a great place to share our experiences.

Glad to hear you are doing better and jealous that you don't need pain pills. I do get pain in my neck, shoulders and, honestly, all over. I have more than one condition going on though so i am not sure what is related to what. I have cervical stenosis and other spinal conditions that could be to blame for some of it. Hope we'll see some more responses here and I think this is an interesting subject. Thanks for posting it!
