will i still be able to work as a homecarer with ostioarthritis

i am being investigated to see if i am suffering from osteoarthritis my neck and lower back is in agony i have been measured and doctor reckons ive shrunk 2inches in 2 years when sleeping on my side my shoulder bone and hip bone aches got to keep turning have had to go of work till diagnosed will i be able to continue with my position of homecarer with this disability

I would pose this question to your doctor after they have given you the results of your bone density scan.  I am guessing that the doctor is putting you on one of the osteoporosis medications to try to rebuild your bone density.  Do you feel like you can continue to work?
