Bladder area discomfort

I wish there was a Urologist or even a Family Doc on the forum here now, but I was hoping you could help since there isn't.   I'm a 33 yr old white male,  5'10" 300 lbs (obviously I'm over weight)

I'm sure this is just a coincidence, but on the day before Thanksgiving I received a bag of saline in the ER because I was having a racing pulse due to a cold and fever I had.  A day or 2 later, I started having these symptoms with my bladder area...  It feels mildly to moderately irritated and uncomortable but not necessarily painful.   Most of the time, when I pee it gives me some degree of relief, but only to a small extent.   I don't have any trouble passing urine, it doesn't burn or hurt when I pee.  The symptoms fluctuate from barely noticeable up to the point to where it effects my sexual ability and disturbs my sleep.   Speaking of sex, I've had unprotected sex with I guess 2 different females in the last 6 months, but based on what I read this doesn't really seem like an STD and I don't notice any discharge.

My doctor felt around on my stomach and ordered a urinalysis which came back normal and that's all I heard about that...What do you think?

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

I think you need to let your doctor know that you continue to have these symptoms.  You need a good physical exam to help figure out what is causing this (something like prostatitis?)  It seems that your doctor ruled out a urinary tract infection, but that is about it.  Let him/her know that you continue to have pain.  Good luck.
