I need some help from a professional

I have hepatitis c and a bicorneous uterus.. Also I have had cervical cancer. My question is would any of these be the reason I can not get pregnant? Would it be ok for me to take metformin and clomid?

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

First, I am not a fertility expert.  IF you are having difficulty getting pregnant or have questions about getting pregnant with your history, it would be best to consult you OB/GYN and/or a fertility expert.

There is a risk that moms can transmit Hepatitis C to their unborn child.  Also, if you do become pregnant, you would have to be followed by a specialist who can monitor your liver functions as pregnancy can be very demanding on your body (your liver included).  So this is something you want to consult an expert about.

Bicornuate uterus is a "heart shaped" uterus.  There are varying degrees, but it can have an affect on fertility and the ability to maintain a pregnancy.  Again, this is something that you will need to discuss with your OB/GYN or a specialist.

The cervical cancer can affect your fetility depending on what treatment you had done for it.  Again, you need to discuss this with your OB/GYN.  Good luck.
