Now right on my right side of my lower back, kind of where my kidneys are located all the way down into my bottom just on the right side, i have major, constent pain. Its throbbing, bad. Is it possible i could have busted a kidney or damaged it real bad? Should i go to the doctor? I can still walk but it hurts and shots pain down my right leg when i do.

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

It is possible to fracture (break) your tailbone, especially with a fall like you have described.  It is also possible that you could have caused trauma to your kidney, but most people get some kind of urinary symptom such as blood in their urine or difficulty urinating in those cases.  Since  you do not mention any problems urinating, then most likely what you are feeling bone/muscle pain.  Use ice to the tail bone area for 3 days after the injury.  After 3 days, heat works better to relieve pain and swelling.  IF you can take ibuprofen, then take that for pain (it is also an antiinflammatory which can help reduce any swelling).  Rest.  If the pain and spasms do not get better over the next 24 hours, then you should see your doctor.  Good luck.
