how long dose it take effexor xr 150 mg

i just need too know if effexor could cause a person too black out and be someone else and how long will it take too become normal again

If you are experiencing mood swings, changes in your personality, you should contact your doctor right away. Effexor works by affecting chemicals in your brain that control mood among other things. If you are having negative thoughts or feelings, or just not feeling like yourself you should also speak with your doctor right away. There may be a problem with the dosage, or you may need to change to a different medication. Your doctor can evaluate your symptoms and may be abel to check the levels of the drug in your system to see what would help you.

Fainting is not a common side effect with effexor. I would recommend that you contact your doctor right away if you have "blacked out" after taking the drug. Your doctor can evaluate what caused you to faint. Make sure that your doctor has a complete list of ALL medications and supplements that you take to make sure none of them have negative interactions with effexor.
