leg feels like a constant breeze travels down it

My left leg has been feeling like a cool breeze has been blowing down my leg for several weeks. This feeling happens if I am in bed with covers on, wearing long pants, or in the shower. It almost feels like there is a constant draft that goes down my leg, only on the outside of my left leg. Starts up at my hip and goes down to my ankle. Some areas of my leg feel more of the cool breeze than others.
It might not even be a cool breeze type feeling, it might feel like a trickle of water running down my leg or a muscle cream affect, but it feels like something.
There is no loss of strength, or weakness involved, just the sensation of wind blowing across/down my leg.

Where do I start looking for an explanation?

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

If you can see a neurologist without a referral, start with a neurologist.  If you need a referral, see you regular medical doctor and request a referral for a neurologist.  I think that this would be a good start and hopefully you will get some answers quickly.  Good luck.
