Hi and thanks for using the forum.

You should see your ob/gyn about this.   Some women have heavy periods, and other times there could be a cause for heavy periods (such as fibroids or endometriosis).  Your ob/gyn can examine you and determine the cause of your heavy period.  There are options for relieving this, so do get checked out.  Sometimes, simply starting the pill can regulate  and lighten your cycle.  Good luck.
