platlets

suprax 400 mg, made my dougther platelets go down, now in the past two mounths, she had to have 4 transfutions, and going to the hospital to get blood work, done, what can i do about all this,   help

Hi and thanks for using the forum.

Unfortunately, suprax can cause transient thrombocytopenia (low platelets).  However, usually if the medication is stopped, the platelets should return back to normal.  I think you and your daughter should seek a second opinion to find out why her platelets have not normalized (assuming she has stopped taking the medication).  Good luck.
