If someone took a pregnancy test 3 years ago and got a negative result...(one line) how long can that line still be visible before it fades. My friend said it was from 3 years ago but I always thought the line would fade away after a few weeks. could this be possible?
The amount of time a result remains available may vary by manufacturer, however, based on the information you have provided, one negative line is generally a control (to make sure the test is working properly) and this should be seen at least until the test’s expiration date. It is important to keep in mind, pregnancy test results should generally not be analyzed after 10 minutes from use, and the tests are not re-usable.
