How long does Propanalol Withdrawal Last?

I was placed on Propanalol in June 09 for chronic migrane (migraine) (for use as a preventative) on 80mg/day. Over the next few months I increased this dose to 240mg/day and topped out at 320mg/day 5 weeks ago (all under supervision of GP). The day after increasing to 320mg/day my heart beat dropped to 47bpm and I felt like I was going to collapse, due to this I was told to go back to 240mg/day which still dropped my heart beat. Over the next week I cut back as low as 20mg/day but my heart beat remained low. Due to this I was taken off them completely and suffered with a fast heartbeat (110bpm) for 3 days solid. Since then I have suffered with bad chest pain, constantly feeling sick and at times feeling like I am going to black out. I have been in A&E twice and been checked out for a heart attack (ECG and blood tests) which came back normal. I realise I was on a high dose of this medication but I am generally of good health and have never suffered with heart trouble before. Can anyone advise on how long these withdrawal symptoms can last?

I am not sure how long the withdrawal symptoms will last, but it could last for a few weeks to a month. Please follow up with your doctor.
