Is Endocet 10/625 (gen. brand) as good as Percocet 10/625

When I first started hurting in my neck & arm/hand etc. it was on a weekend.  I had 2 (brand name) Percocets 7.5/325 left over from a previous problem.  These relieved my pain really good.  After goin to my dr he perscribed Percocet 10/625 but I was given the generic brand Endocet 10/625.  I have to take at least 1 & 1/2 to get anywhere near the relief that I did on the name brand Percocet.  Thinking about goin back to my Ultram/tramadol to see if it would work better.
Do you believe there are differences in generic brands?  And what should I do?
Thank You so much for your time

Sometimes there are differences between brand name and generic. I have heard cases where the generic is not as strong or stronger than the brand name. It depends on the generic manufacturer. If you feel that the brand name is stronger then you can always ask for the brand name specifically.
