Mixing mesalamine and iron?

I'm taking two medications, Salofalk (mesalamine with enteric coating) and FeraMAX 150 (iron supplements). Since I'm usually very forgetful about taking medications, I take both of these meds at the same time in one dose. Is this safe to do? Would there be an adverse reactions to mixing these meds? Please let me know!

I apologize for the delayed response to your answer. You can take Mesalamine with the Iron supplement. There is no interaction between them. The Mesalamine may be taken with or without food. If you experience stomach upset with the medication, taking it with food may help.  I hope this helps!
