Penicillin V--missed a tablet

Hello!

I'm on penicillin v for a strep throat infection. I'm supposed to take two tables twice daily (one in the morn, one at night) for ten days.

However, when I first took the antibiotic, I misread the description and took one tablet instead of two. So now when I'm done the ten day treatment, I'll have one tablet left over.

Should I take the tablet after the ten days? Or should I take three tablets with my next dosage, or take the single tablet in the afternoon?

I'm also wondering what kind of affect this will have on the infection. Will it ruin the antibiotic course and I'll have to retake the meds?

You don't need to triple the dose, just take the last tablet you have as a single dose at the appropriate time.
