Pulmonary Hypertension drug interations

Hi

My 8 and a half month old (5 and a half months corrected) son has Pulmonary Hypertension among other things, and I was wondering if you could tell me about some of his medications.

He is on Sildenafil, and almost three weeks ago, was put on Bosentan.

Before the Bosentan, he would have predictable desats about half hour before sildenafil was due, and I have noticed a pattern lately that it is half hour after his sildenafil, that he drops his sats (not a full blown desat)..... Do you have any thoughts on the change of pattern??

His other meds are....

Phenubarbatone (for sedation)
ferro (iron)
lasix and spirolactone (for Pulmonary hypertension and CLD)
Pentavite
Nacl
Chloral (temp drug to help keep him calm)

Many thanks.

Individual reactions vary, different drugs have to be tried to determine the most effective treatment options. During the course of therapy, the amount and type of medicine may need adjustment. I would discuss this with your physician.
