Vitamin D defiancy

Im not sure where to post this question but thought I'de give it a shot here....my question is have you heard of  "severe Vit D " defiancy leading to rapid tooth decay in a grown adult. I ask this beacuse I am a otherwise healthy 45 yr old with no past problems of severe tooth decay or any real decay for that matter, until just the last six months. Over the last year I have been diagnoised with a severe Vit D defiancy, I take massive perscribed doses to try to get my level up. I am wondering if this might be the cause for the rapid pace of my tooth decay. I am not a candy eater or soda drinker, I brush and floss regualrly...the only thing I can come up with is the Vit D....Im curious as to what you think of this.... Thank you for any replies.

The vitamin D deficiency could be causing your tooth decay as vitamin D aids the absorption of calcium in forming teeth.
