Welbutrin Side Effects

I have been on welbutrin for 8 days now and I am constantly feeling light headed and sometimes get a headache. The best way I can discribe it is I feel like I am high but not in a pleasant high. I keep getting different answers about whether I should stay on welbutrin or not. One doctor told me to stay on it for a few weeks becasue these side effects are normal while another one said to get off of it. Are these side effects normal and does that mean thre is something wrong?

Wellbutrin can cause what is called clouded sensorium.  This is basically when you feel as though you cannot think clearly or concentrate, which sounds like what you are describing.  Also, headaches/migraines are a common side effect of Wellbutrin.  The one doctor you spoke to is correct.  Usually the initial side effects will become milder or subside after continuing the medication for a few weeks.  However, if you feel that you cannot tolerate the side effects, you should talk to your prescribing doctor and consider discontinuing the Wellbutrin.
