Treatment with both Xanax and Zoloft may result in decreased coordination, decreased ability to concentrate, and excessive sedation, but it is common for doctors to prescribe them both at the same time. If you are using both medications together, your doctor may change the dose or how often you use one or both of the medications. The most common side effects of Zoloft are sleepiness, nervousness, insomnia, dizziness, nausea, tremor, skin rash, upset stomach, loss of appetite, headache, diarrhea, abnormal ejaculation, dry mouth and weight loss. The common side effects of Xanax are drowsiness and dizziness.
