Zoloft cause postural tachycardia

Can Zoloft be the cause of postural tachycardia and a feeling of extreme anxiety upon waking. The postural tachycardia is worse in the morning and is milder throughout the day. It seems to have manifested around the same time I began my Zoloft 2 1/2 weeks ago.

Since you are an athlete, i would refer you back to your prescribing doctor. Either medication could legitimately be causing your symptoms. If this is your first attempt at anti-depressants, there are others that your prescriber can put you on that may not give you the same adverse reactions. ( ie Wellbutrin or Lexapro).
