i had a wax blockage on 6 june which sent me deaf. on the 9th june i had micro suction to remove wax. I can hear now but not very good. I had no problem before this date. Went to dr and he has given me tablets for buzzing and pressure. Betahistine Hydrochloride. Started taking these 19 june. they are 16mg. I am taking 3 a day. To date I can now pop my ears but not much. how quick do these tablets work? I was told slowly. But how soon can I expect some improvement. thanks

There is no estimated time on how quickly these tablets should work. According to the literature Betahistine is quickly absorbed by the body, and is completely excreted with urine within 24 hours after ingestion. If there is no improvement in a month I would recommend returning to your doctor.
