options for treating coronary artery spasm

I have periodic coronary artery spasms.  Some days, it will be a problem all day long.  Other days, no problem at all.  My doc would like to put me on Cardizem or Norvasc but my blood pressure runs 80/45 up to 90/60.  Would 60 mg bid of Cardizem produce a drop my blood pressure?  Are there other options of meds that won't affect my BP?  Currently, I'm using Valium as needed to treat the spasms.

Calcium channel blockers such as Cardizem and Norvasc appear to be the drugs of choice for treating coronary artery spasm. They can decrease blood pressure since they are both used for hypertension as well. I cannot find any alternate medications for this indication so please discuss this with your cardiologist.
