taking stadol when i am currently taking tramadol

I have a severe stomach problem and for the past six months have been in and out of the hospital taking drugs in there. i am currently taking tramadol and it does not work for me therefore ihave been taking more than i should, my doctor prescribed me stadol nose spray but i heard it would put me in withdrawals if i had recently taken other opiates/ does anyone know how long they last or if it is that bad because i need real pain relief and i am afraid to use it. thanks

Concomitant use of butorphanol with Tramadol can potentiate the effects of butorphanol on respiratory depression, CNS depression (e.g., dizziness, impaired mental function), and sedation. Tramadol is eliminated from the body anywhere from 15-30 hours. If you must take Tramadol with butorphanol, you'll need to reduce the Tramadol dose and use the longest dosing frequency of butorphanol.

Thank you for your comment. I however am not taking the tramadol any longer. It was the transition from one to the other i was worried about. Going into withdrawals because of the way stadol ns is formulated and how long it would last. Its hard to get good pain relief and be in withdrawals at the same time.
