Effexor is an antidepressant that works slightly different than the others that you have tried. It also does not have a side effect of weight gain, it can actually cause weight loss in some people. You should talk to your doctor about a trial of this medication after tapering off of your Celexa. Effexor does also does not interact with any your current medications.
