Diagnosis: dyspnea?

Diagnosis: dyspnea?

Lately, by doctor gave me a diagnosis of dyspnea. I have a hard
time exhaling and for the last 2 months; I have wheezing problems.

My symptoms consist being clammy on my face, being flush red, having mild to moderate sweating bouts when I do nothing/or do REALLY light activities. Is this normal of dyspnea? I am noticing more Petechiae dots on my chest and arms, is this normal of dyspnea?
I am having reoccuring thrush, is this normal from asthma
attacks/dyspnea?
My doctor has prescribed advair to me and I am undoubtful of it helping... But what's scaring me a little is my weight loss. 2 weeks ago I was 175 lb. Last tues, I was 172 lb. Last Friday, I was 170. Yesterday, I was 168 lb... I am terrified because I fear HIV. My first test was negitive...

Thanks for your time, hopefully I can find answers

I am noticing more Petechiae

But the one symptom that really bothers me is hot tingling flashes and feelings
of being pinched inside on my arms and legs. Now I feel it more on my head.
Is this normal of dyspnea?

I am noticing more

The word, Dyspnea, means the sensation of shortness of breath or labored breathing.  It can be experienced by everyone, even well conditioned athletes, if they exercise hard enough.  Some experts use this descriptive term, only when the symptom is abnormal; that is, out of proportion to the amount of exertion such as have severe dyspnea with minimal exercise.
It describes a sensation or feeling, for which there are many, many causes.  It is not a diagnosis.

Dyspnea can be accompanied flushing, clamminess, sweating, palpitation or any of a number of symptoms.  But, the appearance of petechiae is not something ordinarily associated with dyspnea and, with rare exceptions, not caused by the same diseases or conditions that cause dyspnea. The same is also true for weight loss.   What I am saying is that the cause of the petechiae should be sought separately from the cause of your dyspnea.  Your having “..a hard time exhaling” with wheezing is consistent with the diagnosis of asthma but, as your doctor would know, there are many conditions or diseases that can mimic asthma, especially heart disease and other lung diseases that result in blockage of the airways (bronchial tubes).  To put it simply, all wheezing is not asthma.   If the cause of the wheezing is not immediately obvious, you and your doctor may want to request consultation with a lung specialist.

It should not be assumed that the flushing, clamminess and sweating that occur with “really light activities” are caused by the same condition that is causing your dyspnea.  There are a number of conditions, including abnormal hormone levels that can cause these symptoms, sometimes with weight loss.

Thrush is a very common condition and having it should lead one to worry about AIDS.

With the exception of the petechiae, everything else you describe can occur when a person experiences much anxiety, these being called Panic Attacks.  This should be kept in mind if no physical cause is found for these symptoms.  As for the petechiae, they can be associated with infection, but most often occur with abnormalities of blood clotting and/or blood leakage from small blood vessels.

You have a lot going on with your body, that calls for careful investigation.  Once again, if your doctor is unwilling or unable to proceed with a careful investigation of your condition, you should seek a second opinion, either with a Family Physician or a specialist in Internal Medicine.

Good luck
