Paradoxical bronchospasm CAN BE LIFE THREATENING!

With all due respect to the responding MD on this topic, paradoxical bronchospams CAN be life threatening.  Granted, this is more prevalent in the nebulized form of albuterol or levalbuterol...I see many, many patients with at home neb set ups these days.

This phenomenon occurs in around 8% of patients using the solution form of albuterol or levalbuterol and many doctors are not aware of this complication.  By quickly recognizing increased difficulty breathing after initiating treatment, serious complications or death may be avoided.
