cough due to inhaling bleach fumes

Recently we had a sewer backup into the house. I had to clean the sewage and use bleach to disinfect the basement. I had ventilation during the cleaning, but I have been coughing for 4 days due to the fumes and debris dust. What can I do to get rid of this?

It might take a few days to recover.

My mom worked in the yard once, spraying bug poison everywhere.

For days after she was having split moments of time lapse. Like flashes of blackouts or time loss. She went to the doctor and they found nothing wrong. It went away on its own so we still suspect the poison was what caused this. It's 10 years later and it never came back.
