itchy bumps spreading over my body

after moving, and the first shower i took at my new apt., i noticed small bumps that started itching badly in the inner thigh area, it has now spread to just about everywhere on my body. the bumps are filled with puss and if i happen to bust one, it fills right back up within minutes, a doctor at my school, Florida A & M University, told me to use lotrimine, but i also notice that its used mostly for fuguse on feet, and after useing 4 viles of it ireally didnt do anything for where it started let alone stop it from spreading, can u help a little more than what the nurses told me? what meds can i use to make it stop spreading and go away and please say there it a spay so i can cover my body in less than an hour

What you describe could be infectious, allergic or irritant as a result of contaminated shower water.  Before it can be treated effectively, the cause must be identified.  This will require microscopic examination and culture of the 'pus' you describe.  Infections acquired in this fashion are often caused by uncommon organisms such as Legionella, the cause of Legionnaires Disease or fungi or organisms that resemble tuberculosis, called atypical or nontuberculous mycobacteria.

Your best bet would be to see an internal medicine doctor or a specialist in infectious disease, and to do so without delay.
